As the Solstice approaches, two adventure books have appeared in the Lair. Their origins are uncertain, their pages mysteriously unfinished… and neither will reveal what it holds until someone chooses to open it.

One carries tales shaped beneath darkened skies: ancient paths, forgotten places, and shadows dancing just beyond the firelight.

The other belongs to somewhere stranger and more iridescent: impossible landscapes, curious wonders, and places that perhaps exist only while someone is dreaming of them.

To continue the story, you must first choose which one to open.

AN ADVENTURE IN 12 VOLUMES

Your Solstice experience contains 12 boxes to discover throughout your adventure, which we’ll call Volumes, each holding a braid of fiber hand-dyed especially for this edition.

As your adventure unfolds, each Volume will give you access to a new fragment of your story and a choice that will reveal which box to open next.

The Volumes are not physical books: the story and the choices that guide your adventure are discovered online using QR codes.

You will therefore need a device capable of scanning QR codes and accessing the Internet to follow your journey.

FIBERS CREATED FOR THE ADVENTURE

Fables and Legends each feature their own Haunui fiber base, selected to reflect the world of the story it accompanies.

Both blends were produced in limited quantities, making the 2026 Solstice Box a particularly special opportunity to experience them.

The 12 colorways for each adventure have also been created especially for the 2026 edition and will remain secret until their Volumes are opened.

AND A FEW SECRETS…

Because an adventure sometimes holds more than what was promised on the cover, a few extra surprises have been carefully hidden among the fibers inside some of the Volumes.

You’ll have to discover it along the way.

A DATE WITH THE SOLSTICE

The adventure begins on December 10 with the opening of your first Volume.

Each day, your story will reveal which Volume to open next, guiding you from one title to another until December 21, the Winter Solstice.

To preserve the surprises of the adventure, the fibers and treasures hidden within the Volumes will be revealed daily beginning on their opening date.

SHIPPING

Solstice Boxes will begin shipping in late November, allowing plenty of time for them to arrive before the adventure begins.

Due to their special preparation and shipping schedule, Solstice Boxes cannot be combined with other orders.

12 braids of hand-dyed fiber

Each braid is dyed especially for the 2026 edition of the Solstice Box.

Additional surprises are also hidden among the fibers inside some of the Volumes.

INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE

The story and adventure choices are presented digitally and are not included as a physical book.

A device capable of scanning QR codes and accessing the Internet is required to follow the adventure.
Store away from heat, moisture and insects.

Storage suggestion
Loosely wrap your fiber in tissue paper or a pillowcase, then place it in a sealed, airtight plastic container with your favorite natural moth deterrent. Don’t forget to take your fiber out and admire it about once a month to give it a little fresh air.

Spun & knitted fiber: Hand wash using a wool-safe detergent and lay flat to dry.
